LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Southmountain Children and Family Services is seeking a licensed clinician experienced in trauma work to join its team as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. The clinician supports the children and families who utilize the services of the Craven and Pamlico Counties Children’s Advocacy Center.
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, but requires flexibility for after-hour emergencies and periodic on-call.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree or higher required.
Licensure to provide mental health services is required.
Being rostered in TF-CBT, currently participating in the NC Child Treatment Program, or being nationally certified in TF-CBT is preferred.
Experience in treating traumatized children is required.
DUTIES:
Provide trauma-informed, comprehensive clinical assessments
Provide outpatient therapy services
Collaborate and consult with other community services providers
Participate as a member of the center’s multidisciplinary team

Salary: starts at $45,000 per year, based on education and experience
