Art, Clay! Art!
Southmountain Estates, our Foster Community is so excited to be able to begin an art program for our children! Southmountain was recently awarded a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Burke County for $5,080. These funds will allow us to pay artists to teach classes, to repair two of our kilns and purchase art supplies. Several of our children are very interested in art and pottery and this will be a wonderful opportunity for our children to pursue their interests and talents.
