Blue Knights Host 6th Annual Falling Leaf Ride
Fifty-two motorcycle riders from the Blue Knights Chapter XXIII blazed the mountain roads on Saturday, October 17th for the 6th Annual Falling Leaf Ride as a fundraiser for Southmountain Children and Family Services. The motorcycle ride went through Newland and across Roan Mountain, TN then back down through Mitchell and McDowell Counties and ending on the campus of our Foster Community where the participants enjoyed a picnic lunch with our children and families.
A total of 55 sponsors supported these riders, raising money for Southmountain.
